Race Description
The Bell of Hope Charity Cycle for Mental Wellness is a charity road cycle event, which takes place in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. The proceeds of this event go towards sustaining Ebenezer House, a licensed Non-Profit Organisation (NPO 088 960) that takes care of fully functional adults with Bipolar or Schizophrenia. Ebenezer House is located in Witpoortjie, Roodepoort, Gauteng.
The event is a fun ride and consists of two distances, a 15Km and 50Km through the landscapes of the Cradle of Humankind. There will be partial road closure by the Mogale City Traffic Department at the start of each event, there will be constant radio control JOC supervision with the help of THINKBIKE to manage the cyclists with emergency services for all road uses during the event to ensure safety for all.
This is The Bell of Hope Charity Rides 10th Anniversary and there will be valuable goodie bags for every cyclist, loads of spot prizes to be won, great food stalls, a craft market made by the residents and sponsored refreshments for all.
