Sani Stagger Down Run

Gravel Run from Lesotho to South Africa! Located on Sani Pass, Sani stagger down run is a 100% downhill half marathon! And the run is only half the fun... All runners get driven up Sani pass in 4x4 vehicles - a South African bucket list item that youll get to tick off! The race takes place along the 21km gravel road of Sani Pass, on the magnificent scenic route between the Lesotho Border Post and the Premier Resort Sani Pass. The 21.1km starts at the Lesotho Border Post and is run down to the finish line at the Premier Resort Sani Pass. Runners are shuttled up to the start in 4x4s by Major Adventures, a local Sani Pass tour operator. The drive up the pass is approximately 2 hours. It's an adventure on its own and a bucket list item for every South African! The race route has been measured by an ASA and International Registered Course Measurer taking the shortest route along the course. Please bear in mind that the route is rocky, and uneven in places and you may not be able to take the shortest route.
