The altitude fluctuates, starting at the Klerksdorp Recreation Centre in Klerksdorp and finishing at the NWU McArthur Stadium in Potchefstroom. Elevation of Klerksdorp is 1325.52 meters or 4348.82 feet and the elevation of Potchefstroom is 1340.86 meters or 4399.16 feet, which is a difference of 15.34 meters or 50.34 feet. The race distance is 50km. The distance is subject to change and will be confirmed in the Final Race Instructions within a reasonable period prior the race.
