Beers and Bagels Fun Run

About the event: Started in 2021 The Beers & Bagels Fun Run is 5km run from the popular Jacks Bagels Summerstrand to the relaxed, scenic Ziggy's Rock and Reggae bar at Pine Lodge. This 5km fun run is aimed at everyone, whether you sprint, run or walk all that matters is that you have a good time! And it is a pretty good excuse to eat a bagel and drink a beer. Important Information: Date: 24 June 2023 Start Time: 10h00 Venue: Jacks Bagels Summerstrand Entry Fee: R200 for Adults and R100 for Kids (under 18yrs) Adult entrants will receive one free chocolate bagel voucher (valid for 24th June 2023) at the start of the race and a cold refreshing beer upon crossing the finish line. All participants who enter before Friday 16th of June will be given a complimentary, Beers & Bagels T shirt. Times will be recorded and posted on the Zsports website for those athletic runners aiming to break their personal bests. Jacks Bagels will be offering R15 Cuppuccino's and R10 Americanos before the start of the race. Children under the age of 18 will be given a free bagel before the start of the run and non-alcoholic refreshment post race (Discounted entry into kids race DOES NOT include T shirt). Entries will close on race week Friday at mid-day.
