702 Walk the Talk 2023

The iconic 702 Walk the Talk is back. And this year, we're taking it to a world heritage site - The Cradle of Humankind - a venue known for its rolling hills and grassland walks. The 702 Walk the Talk is taking place on Sunday, 20th of August at Maropeng NOTE that the entry limit for this event is 50000 entrants Race entry fees: 8km Walk: R350 5km Walk: R350 3km Walk for under 5y & persons with disabilit: R180 Entry fee include a t-shirt, goodie bag and a finisher medal. Walk pack collection will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of August. The venue for collection will be announced soon. Race Day Information MEDALS: Medals will be awarded to all finishers within cut-off times WATER: There are 2 water points on the 8km, and 1 water point on the 5km and 3km routes. There is also a water station at the finish line for all participants use. PETS: Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this world heritage site habitat. PRAMS/WHEELCHAIRS: The 3km route is specially designed to cater to prams and wheelchairs PARKING: There is ample parking available at the venue NOTE: We do not promote running as this event is a walk. Some of the terrain is uneven so will not allow for running.
