Longmore Forest Endurance Run - LoFER

The LoFER is an endurance ultra run dessigned to introduce runners to the joys of ultra running in wild and beautiful areas (and believe us, this area is spectacularly beautiful!) The routes for the race consist of mostly forestry road and jeep track, so are very runnable, and we expect as a result that this race will be one of the faster ultra courses in SA. The LoFER Mini 50km & LoFER Micro 30km routes will share a small portion of the main LoFER route before branching off to establish their own unique identies as races. All 200 Mile, 100 Mile, 50 Mile & 50km runners will bag the peak of Blouberg, which at ~810m above sea level, is the highest peak in the area.
