Festival of Running in Nelson Mandela Bay 2024

Entries will be taken on the day from 12h00 An admin fee of R50 will be levied for late entries Race entry fees: Marathon: R130 Half-Marathon: R110 10km Race: R70 5km Race: R50 NOTE: Marathon runners taking more than 3 hours finish in the dark. A headlamp is recommended and can be purchased from our website and as part of the entry process. Registration / Number Collection Number collection will take place on the day from 11h00 Race Day Information HANDOUTS: No medals will be handed out, except those on pre-order and for collection with race numbers PARKING: Elephant Walk and surrounds has plenty of open ground. Please respect the marshals and volunteers as they direct your parking to keep channels and roads open and safe. We encourage use of shared lifts to this event TOG BAGS: There will be no dedicated areas for these. Please have supporters or safe places to store your goods. HYDRATION: We are an eco-aware club hosting this event in a sensitive area and this race will therefore be sachet-free. Water bottles are on sale on our entry platform. Athletes are expected to carry a bottle or cup for filling at the 9 aid stations on the half/marathon routes. Aid stations will be between 2.5 and 3.5km apart. ABLUTIONS: Ablutions will be available at the start/finish as well as at the turn-around for the marathon PLEASE NOTE: Littering will lead to disqualification, and potential sanction from further events PRIZE-GIVING: 10km - 17h30 21km - 18h30 42km - 19h00
