Gather your friends and form teams of two, three or four as you navigate through this exhilarating multi-discipline adventure. Race: Adventure South Africa Date: 25-27 October 2024 Location: Heidelberg, Western Cape What to expect? Part of adventure racing is the mystery that will only be solved on the day that you receive the maps. During this edition of the Hessequa Adventure Race, you will not be paddling but you will get wet! Expect to head up or down a kloof, find your own trails through wilderness areas and cycle up more rolling hills than you can count. Distances: 150km- Estimated Winning Time, 20h. Mid-field teams 30h. Cut-off 36h 75km- Estimated Winning Time, 8h. Mid-field teams 12h. Cut-off 16h Accommodation: Rooms available at Helderberg High School for the first 20 teams. Grab yours when you enter. Our races are guaranteed to be tough but it is designed to be achievable in the allocated time. Shortened options will be available if you do not make certain cut-offs. Unique to this year's event is the option to race as a 3-person team. There will not be a paddling leg, which means you don't have to pair up in boats.
