The 2025 Cape Gate Vaal Marathon is taking place on Sunday 23 February 2025. It will be the 50th running of this ever growing and well organized event and will again start and finish at the Dick Fourie Stadium, Klip River Drive, Three Rivers, Vereeniging. This is a 4 race event, a 42.2km Marathon, a 21.1km Half Marathon, a 10km Road Race & a 5km Fun Run. Real Route For A PB - Fast & Flat! This two-lapper gently meanders through four suburbs of Vereeniging and has a section along the banks of the Vaal River. While it is fair to say that the route is flat, it is by no means the easiest marathon; you will have to work the whole way.
