Now in its fourth year, Pass2Pass Ultra-Trail stands as one of South Africas most demanding and authentic ultra running experiences. P2P is scheduled towards the tail end of the Cape summer a transitional season where golden light meets unpredictable conditions. With six unique race categories including the formidable P2P Hundred the event offers something for every runner. The route winds through one of South Africas most striking circular courses: beginning and ending at the base of the iconic Bains Kloof Pass, it climbs toward the misty heights of the Old Du Toitskloof Pass before tracing its way through Limietbergs rugged heart. Theres a spirit here that echoes the early days of the sport remote terrain, deep solitude, and long stretches that demand patience, grit, and respect. Expect everything: technical terrain, long climbs, bone-deep silence, and conditions that can swing between searing heat and icy winds.
