Dis-Chem Ride for Sight

Launched in 1990, the Ride for Sight is Retina South Africas flagship fundraiser, dedicated to advancing retinal research and supporting people with vision loss. Now in its 37th year, the event has grown into one of South Africas largest inclusive cycling experiences, welcoming thousands of ridersincluding para-cyclists using tandems and handcyclesand raising over R13 million to date. The 2026 edition is part of the Mzansi National Road Series and is expected to attract over 4000 participants.
