BNAC Marathon

The BNAC Marathon is a premier Athletics South Africa (ASA)-sanctioned event scheduled for Sunday, 19 April 2026, starting from the Benoni Northerns Sports Club. Known for being one of Gautengs flattest and fastest courses, it serves as a critical official qualifier for the Comrades Marathon. The scenic route takes runners through the leafy suburbs of Benoni and the Ebotse Golf Estate, offering a "double-lap" format for the marathon distance that is ideal for chasing personal bests. With distances ranging from a competitive 48km Ultra to a family-friendly 5km fun run, the event is celebrated for its community atmosphere, well-stocked water tables, and spirited local support.
