Klapperkop Road or Trail Run/Walk

The event is open to both road runners and trail enthusiasts, offering a variety of distances including 2km, 5km, 10km, and 15km. Participants can enjoy scenic, marked routes entirely within the reserve, featuring bird's-eye views of the capital city without needing a running license. Registration opens at 06:30 with the official race starting at 07:00, and all finishers receive a medal. The venue is family-friendly, though pets are not allowed, and the Johann Rissik Drive gate must be used for entry as the R21 gate is permanently closed.
