Garsfontein Ice Breaker

An annual winter running event hosted by the Wingate Road Runners on Saturday, 4 July 2026. Starting from Garsfontein Primary School in Pretoria, the race offers a range of distances including a 21.1km half marathon, 10km, 5km fun run, and a 1km kids' dash, making it accessible for both competitive athletes and families. Participants can expect a moderately undulating route through the scenic streets of Garsfontein, with all proceeds from the event supporting the local Garsfontein Dutch Reformed Church's charity outreach programmes.
