Tugela Epic

A social MTB ride on the wild side! Set along the spectacular Tugela Canyon, the Tugela Epic invites you on an epic adventure to ride your mountain bike along pristine trails and routes never ridden before. Please note that this is not a race, but a social event allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the African bushveld. Friends; family and children are welcome - supporter tickets are available. The Tugela Epic is a fund-raising initiative by the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Honorary Officers; who aim to raise critical funds for the preservation and expansion of Weenen and Spioenkop Nature Reserves. Funds will be used for maintenance and expansion of trails and infrastructure and implementation of conservation projects. Therefore, by entering the Tugela Epic; you are directly contributing to conservation efforts in this area. We are encouraging riders to initiate a rider sponsorship program to assist in funding for Ezemvelo HOs conservation projects. There will be a prize for the highest sponsorship obtained.
