Madibaz George Forest Run

A scenic journey through the lush, natural landscapes of the Garden Route. Starting and finishing at the Nelson Mandela University George Campus Rugby Stadium, the route features mixed-surface terrain that transitions from paved roads to undulating gravel tracks. Runners are treated to immersive stretches through indigenous Tsitsikamma forest plantations, where dense tree canopies provide refreshing shade along the course. The event features distances suited for all fitness levels, including a challenging 21.1 km half marathon, a fast-paced 10 km run, and an accessible 5 km fun run. Fully equipped with regular water stations, medical support, and official chip timing, it serves as an excellent event for competitive athletes aiming for a personal best as well as families looking for an active day out in nature.
