24th Vlakte Marathon

A fast, point-to-point route from Heidelberg to the coastal town of Witsand in the Western Cape. Organized by the Langeberg Athletics Club, this scenic event features a 42.2km marathon (an official Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier), a 21.1km half marathon, and a 10.4km road race, alongside a 5km fun run the evening before. Runners finish at Witsand Main Beach, with convenient race-day shuttle services available to connect the start and finish lines.
