Jacaranda City Challenge

Pretorias premier road running event, famously taking place when the citys iconic jacaranda trees are in full purple bloom. Hosted by the Faranani Athletics Club at Rietondale Park, this vibrant event serves as an official qualifier for both the Comrades and Two Oceans Marathons. It offers a distance for every fitness level, featuring a 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 10km run, and a family-friendly 5km fun run. Runners can look forward to a scenic, well-organized route through the historic, tree-lined streets of South Africa's capital city, complete with lively water stations and excellent race-day support.
