Two Countries Marathon

A unique cross-border road race taking place along the border of South Africa and Zimbabwe. Starting in Musina, South Africa, the event offers full marathon (42.2 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, and 5 km distances. Participants on the longer routes cross the historic border over the Limpopo River into Beitbridge, Zimbabwe, before turning around to return to the finish linerequiring runners competing in the cross-border segments to carry a valid passport. Organised by local athletics clubs, it serves as a popular qualifier for major South African ultramarathons like the Comrades and Two Oceans while offering a scenic, memorable cultural running experience.
