The Vaal River City Cycling Challenge 2026 returns on Sunday, 4 October 2026, bringing cyclists together for an unforgettable morning of cycling in the Vaal. Forming part of the 2026 Vaal River Carnival, the challenge celebrates cycling, community, active lifestyles and the Vaal as a sport and tourism destination. This is a non-timed cycling event, so whether youre challenging yourself, riding with your club or simply enjoying the Vaal with fellow cyclists, youre welcome on the start line. Only 300 entries are available across both distances, so enter early to secure your spot.
